The Position

 

This exciting and diverse role is required to support Personal Best Education’s development and delivery of Teen Projects.

 

The Youth Project Coordinator will play a key role in planning and delivering Personal Best’s Teen Projects across multiple counties. This role will include; planning and implementing strategic plans, engaging with local professionals as well as procuring appropriate venues and food providers for project delivery.

 

·         Plan projects and coordinate key tasks, as assigned, in detail with key milestones and performance measurements to ensure successful delivery of the desired outcomes (as assigned by Head of Youth Programmes and Commercial Manager in PMOs)

·         Prepare and provide updates of progress and performance to Head of Youth Programmes and other key stakeholders, as and when agreed e.g. Communications and reports

·         Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all young people and staff on programme delivery

·         Quality assure and carry out risk assessments on key aspects of all planned delivery

·         Collaborate with our Engagement Team to ensure effective and agile programme planning and delivery.

·         Support key staff recruitment and training to ensure successful delivery of projects as and when required e.g.  Relevant training, procedures and ethos’ of Personal Best

·         Develop project framework, themes and curriculum for workshop timetables

·         Ensure all systems to support successful delivery of projects are effective and appropriate e.g. Finance, feedback etc.

·         Be a key contact for project staff and suppliers during delivery periods

·         Ensure data collection/management, relevant to the assigned project is carried out accurately and correctly at all times and shared solely with stakeholders deemed appropriate or required e.g. Incidents & Accidents, Personal data etc.

·         Support other aspects of the Personal Best business when requested by line manager, MD, where possible and key responsibilities permitting e.g. other projects

  • Experience working with one or more of: - children/young people/local communities
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to motivate and encourage people to overcome boundaries
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a professional manner in line with GDPR and Personal Best Education policies
  • Understanding of working with diverse community groups

 

 

Attributes and Knowledge

  • Passion for working with children/young people and interested in supporting their personal development
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Hold a full UK Driving License
  • Degree level education or working towards degree level or hold a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar field

 Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

Salary: £21,500 - £23,500
